Some of my favorite photo opportunities are carnivals, parades, fairs and dances. People tend to let their hair down in these venues and provide exaggerated behavior which makes for interesting photos. I have hundreds of shots from the various celebrations I have visited around the world and around my city. Here are a few, as well as some that were just shot when the opportunity arose.
