The U-8 hardware
features handy sliders, dials and transport buttons that can be used
to control recording and mixing operations without the need for a mouse
or keyboard. The user-friendly graphical interface and the "EZ
Recording" function guide the user through each step of the composing,
recording and mixing processes. Dedicated input jacks for microphone
and guitar provide direct connection to the unit, while a line input
provides for external audio sources. MIDI In/Out ports provide 16 Channels
of MIDI. The exclusive "U-8 Effects Controller" harnesses
