ThinKware's Booth - a "Show-Within-A-Show"

Los Angeles, CA (February 2, 2000) "A Show-within-a-Show." That's what the dealers were calling ThinKware's booth at the recent Winter NAMM 2000 show in Los Angeles. With 16 Manufacturers demonstrating at over 20 workstations, ThinKware's booth was a central meeting place for the distribution of computer music, audio and video Desk Top Media Production. Additionally, 22 other manufacturers distributed by ThinKware were presenting in booths throughout the show, proving again that ThinKware offers the broadest selection of product solutions.

Doug Smith, ThinKware's President, provided feedback about the ThinKware booth. "Winter NAMM is the most important venue for new musical products in North America. With our 'show-within-a-show' booth, ThinKware takes the lead in providing our dealers with a focal point for getting information about the latest in software and hardware. This special edition of THINKWARE'S LIGHTBULB provides all of our dealers an opportunity to take advantage of the great new products that debuted at NAMM."

Coming Soon! ThinKware DealerNet Will Connect Dealers
to Information

Winter NAMM 2000
Dealers were buzzing with excitement about the debut of ThinKware's "on-line community," the ThinKware DealerNet.

Debuting in April 2000, and designed for retail sales professionals who want to be informed and in tune with the latest in computer music, audio, video and Desk Top Media Production (DTMP), the DealerNet is slated to become one of the most important tools for providing information, closing sales and placing orders.

When dealers or salespersons log on to the DealerNet with their personalized password, they will be able to access a broad range of solution-oriented features. An interactive catalog and product search engine will allow users to find product information by Product Name, Manufacturer, Category, etc. Products can be reviewed and ordered on-line. Additional sections provide access to product reviews, demos, and catalog graphics. And the power of the Internet is harnessed with specific purchase-based product recommendations and late-breaking announcements on new products, upgrades, and market trends.

ThinKware President Doug Smith talked about the DealerNet's potential for sales. "ThinKware knows that our dealers want product information. When it debuts in April, the ThinKware DealerNet will become the most important source for providing those solutions. As North America's leading distributor of DTMP, we have a commitment to supply the tools and information our dealers need."

Remember, the ThinKware DealerNet is available exclusively through ThinKware to Dealers, Purchasers, and Sales personnel. Log onto www.thinkware.com or call 800-369-6191 to get your personal I.D. and password.

Special Bulletin for Resellers - January 2001

ThinKware Impacts Comdex Customers —
ThinKware's exhibits were the center of activity for the latest in desktop audio, video and music production at COMDEX 2000.

This show, which attracted over 200,000 computer professionals, provided the best cross-section of customers for the new lines of Desk Top Media Production software and devices.

Professionals in marketing, sales, technology, production, church, school, government, as well as game developers and hobbyists stopped to see and hear the presentations given by manufacturers in the ThinKware booths.

Better Than Expected
Many attendees expected the usual network, wireless, palm, scan, print and internet interfacing. Additionally, at the ThinKware displays, they were introduced to new USB audio and MIDI devices, video editing suites, music printing, recording, converting software.

Comdex Reveals What Customers Want Next
"Devices for specialized applications are what customers want now," says Doug Smith, ThinKware president.

"The computer industry has positioned the basic PC as a host for other devices. CPU power, although greatly increased now, is always taxed to the maximum by software developers. For power and performance, extra hardware is required."

A standard PC's built-in chips can produce 'communication-level' audio & video. However, to transform audio and video with artistry, the computer needs an external device with specialized software. ThinKware supplies and supports resellers with these devices everyday.

Now, customers on a budget can record and process audio without breaking the bank. AUDIOTRAK sound cards have high-end audio features at a low, low price.

The MAYA card is perfect for someone who seeks better quality audio than they can get with a built-in sound card, but has a budget under $150 SRP. For those needing a multiple I/O card, the INCA 88 is the ideal solution at under $400 SRP.

INCA Do

We have found a multitrack audio solution for you that anyone can afford. The INCA 88 is an 8 in/8 out card that comes bundled with powerful recording software. It has everything most customers need for creating a multitrack masterpiece, including:
· 8 analog in and 8 analog output channels in shielded breakout box
· Supports sample rates up to 48kHz

Add-on an upgrade to the full version of GigaSampler and you'll be giving your customer the power to fully express their creativity.

Maya, Oh My

The soundcards that are included in standard computers are getting better, but they're still not up to the expectations of the discriminating ear for recording digital audio. Now, the new MAYA card adds high-quality digital audio I/O to a Windows based computer. This easy to install PCI card features:
· Stereo analog I/O (RCA connectors)
· Supports sample rates up to 48kHz
· Optical S/PDIF out
· Microphone preamp with phantom power
· Internal connection for CD-ROM drive
· E-WDM drivers for Windows 98 SE, Windows ME and Windows 2000 (MME, DirectSound, ASIO 2.0, GSIF)
